TELEPHONE TRIAGE 1st NOVEMBER 2017
Since 1st November our practice has been providing TELEPHONE TRIAGE appointments in an effort to improve access.
This has followed discussions with the patient participation group who have asked us to improve the way patient requests are dealt with including allocation of appointments and improving non-face-to-face communication (telephone, post, text messaging and patient access).
In conjunction the practice has been working with the London South Bank University in planning and instituting improvements in line with robust and proven scientific and management strategies.
There are likely to be further minor adjustments. Since 1st November there has been a major improvement for all involved. We hope that patients now realise that there is no urgency in contacting the surgery at 8:30am or 2PM, patients will be able to get an appropriate same day response in a more timely manner.
GP/Nurse appointments on evenings and weekend available
